Splish Splash Forever!

Pola (11) has lost her best and only friend, Polly (11), whose parents ran a snack bar at the local Plitsch Platsch swimming pool and moved abroad after it closed.  To bring her back, she decides to save the place that meant so much to them. However, the longer she fights to save the lido, the more she realises that Polly won’t be coming back.  Gradually, she comes to realise that saving the lido won’t help her get Polly back, but it may bring her  new friends, courage and a discovery of her own strength. . The film warmly tells a story of friendship, the ability to leave the past behind, and the courage to stand up for something that transcends us – whilst lovingly capturing the magic of Swiss summer swimming pool culture.
