FUNCTIONALISM IN THE HEART OF PRAGUE
You can find us in the Edison Transformation station, one of Prague's most significant functionalist buildings. It was built during the First Republic by F. A. Libra, a renowned Prague architect, as a commission for Prague's Elektrické podniky (Electrical enterprises). It was skilfully renovated at the turn of the millennium by Ladislav Lábus' atelier. The building is part of Prague's heritage reservation and is protected by UNESCO.
