Yoseli has the Eiffel Tower tattooed on her back and always wanted to travel. But her dreams vanished when she was arrested at the airport for drug smuggling. She ended up in a women's prison, just like Nacho, who, despite his gender identity, had to start his dream rock band right there. They served their sentences and now, together with a diverse group of other released prisoners, they reenact real stories from their past. In the ruins of a former prison in Buenos Aires, they dance and sing freely and use their imagination to build a new future for themselves, free of fear and prejudice. Director Lola Arias innovates the musical genre in this energetic film, and her ingenuity, meticulously thought-out set design, and sense of playful acting will thrill even die-hard opponents of musicals.
