What do chemical reactions, light, energy and distant galaxies have in common? Australian filmmaker Josef Gatti uses captivating chemical and physical experiments to reveal the hidden patterns in nature. Hypnotic images in which the world of atoms meets the world of galaxies are accompanied by electronic music by Nils Frahm and Rival Consoles. A visually stunning and accessible film at the intersection of science and visual art, Phenomena: When Elements Dance won the Best Science Communication Award as well as the Audience Award at this year's AFO Olomouc festival.
The projection during the Aussie & Kiwi Film Fest will be preceded by a short film The Brightness.
