Set in 1970s New Zealand. Devastated by the loss of his mother, young Brian is determined to stop his father from marrying again. Convinced that he can reach his mother through prayer and penance, he finds refuge in a run down convent inhabited by three eccentric nuns. But when Brian overhears plans to close the convent and separate the sisters, he sets an unlikely mission in motion: a journey to the Southern Alps in search of a former nun turned lawyer who might just be able to save them all. Together, they embark on a quirky road trip far from home — a journey filled with humour, faith, chaos, and unexpected friendship.
The projection during Aussie & Kiwi Film Fest will be preceded by a short film Beyond Measure.
