Thirty-five-year-old Zoran works nights as an assistant on a reality TV show. During the day, he argues with his roommate, tries unsuccessfully to rekindle his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, and begins a virtual sexual relationship with an unknown woman. A deep loneliness permeates his daily life, though he refuses to admit it. His routine—marked by chronic sleep deprivation and aimlessly drifting through life—is disrupted by the news that his estranged father, Vesa, is suffering from advanced leukemia. At first, Zoran refuses to accept that anything is wrong. Despite Vesa’s resistance, he has him admitted to a private medical facility, where he visits him regularly while desperately trying to keep going with his life. Gradually, however, he realizes that he wants to spend the last weeks of his father’s life differently.
