Berg-Ejvind is banished to Iceland for stealing a sheep to feed his starving family. There, he falls in love with Halla, a wealthy widow and farmer—but he is tracked down by a jealous bailiff who seeks to frame and imprison him. Berg-Ejvind flees to the mountains, and Halla follows him.

Ian Mikyska began his musical career in Lima, Peru, studying classical guitar. After returning to the Czech Republic, he studied jazz guitar with David Dorůžka and Petr Zelenka and later composition with Tomáš Pálka. During this time, he performed numerous concerts in Central Europe as well as in Mexico and the U.S. on tour with the band Rhythm Desperados. He released the collection Partitury pro čtenáře (Psí víno, 2016) and co-founded the ensemble Stratocluster. He created two “sensory walks”—installations with a book guide: one at the Convent of St. Agnes in Prague, the other at the Automatic Mills in Pardubice. He is engaged in translating poetry and prose from Czech into English, as well as composition and improvisational projects across various genres.
Miroslav Tóth (1981) is a composer, sound designer, and saxophonist born in Bratislava and currently based in Prague. He studied composition at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague; he co-founded and performs with the bands Drť, Dystopic Requiem Quartet, Srnka, Predskokan Otrok, Shibuya Motors, and Funeral Marching Band.
