The Last Bath

Josephine returns to her home village before she is due to take her religious vows. There she meets her nephew, who has been abandoned by his mother, and takes him in. Returning home, she is confronted with her dark past and the reality of loneliness. She must confront her nephew's adolescence, her deep piety, the danger of sin and the threat of her sister's return. All human relationships are ambiguous and love is not easy to master.
