Tomáš Hlaváček's feature-length documentary presents a time-lapse immersion into the environment of the poverty trade, the focal point of which is the so-called loot houses. One of them, the infamous Kuncovka apartment house in Brno, becomes the setting for a cruel drama. Its residents have decided to resist the oppression and bullying systematically perpetrated against them by the owner of the building. The struggle for basic living conditions gradually brings the residents and the people who try to help them into borderline and hopeless situations. Gradually it becomes clear that this is not just a battle with the owner, but with the entire system of public institutions that enables his actions. The drama won the main prize of the Czech Joy competition at the 28th IDFF Ji.hlava.
