The Hypnosis

André and Vera are partners not only in private but also in business. They go all in on creating their own startup and adjust even their personal life to ensure success. Coming across a prestigious competition led by a renowned guru, doors to bigger and better business soon open. The presentation is ready, the speeches polished, and the future bright. But when a disgruntled Vera gets the idea to go to hypnotherapy, a chain of events are put in motion which reveal just how little control they have over their own lives. Debuting Swedish director Ernst de Geer imaginatively combines a biting satire on a society losing its immediacy with a tender romantic comedy about a couple going through a serious relationship crisis.
