The ARAS SCREENING program has selected short films by three of its members.
HURIKÁN, directed by Jan Saska, offers an intimate look into the inner world of the main character, who is coping with emotions and situations that burst into her life with the destructive force of a hurricane. The film sensitively works with atmosphere and imagery, capturing both the fragility and strength of the human psyche.
IN PERSON ONLY by director Tereza Vejvodová is a civil but striking probe into interpersonal relationships and everyday decisions. A seemingly ordinary situation becomes a space for revealing tension, unspoken emotions, and a desire for closeness.
3 MWh by director Marie Magdalena Kochová opens up the topic of responsibility, consumption, and the impact of our actions on the world around us. The film connects a personal story with a broader social context and asks questions about the values that shape our present.
