Colin (Harry Melling) lives a routine life in the suburbs of London. His days are filled with work, he performs in a bar with a singing group in the evenings, and romantic adventures are few and far between. But that changes when shy Colin is approached in the bar by Ray (Alexander Skarsgård), a mysteriously seductive member of a motorcycle gang. Ray, however, is not looking for a conventional relationship. Director Harry Lighton's debut tells a tender love story set in the BDSM world, shrouded in the noise of revving engines, with gentle humor. The film has resonated strongly since its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, where it won the award for best screenplay.
