After the end of World War II, for the first time in history, the world faces the question of how to judge evil in such a form. Young American military psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Rami Malek) arrives in the city to examine the mental state of Nazi leaders, including Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe) himself. What was supposed to be a routine examination turns into an unexpectedly personal confrontation with power, evil, and his own belief in humanity.
