KINOWAR2026: Kyiv Soloists

On February 23, 2022, fifteen Ukrainian musicians from the ensemble Kyiv Soloists set out on a short concert tour to Italy. A few hours later, Russia invades Ukraine. What was meant to be a routine trip turns overnight into an existential dilemma. In the chaos of the first days of war, the musicians decide to continue—and gradually expand—their tour across Europe, using music as a way to share Ukrainian culture and raise their voices against the war.

On the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the war in Ukraine, Kinovarta, with the support of Prague cinemas, present a benefit showcase of contemporary Ukrainian cinema in Prague. All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will be directed toward supporting Ukraine.
