Hoppers (CZ DUBBING)

The main character is Mabel Tanaka, a girl with an exceptionally strong affinity for animals and nature conservation. Even as a child, she tried to save the school’s pets, even though this drove the adults—and especially her teachers—to distraction. However, her true connection to nature fully blossoms in a place she calls “Glade,” located on the outskirts of town, where she used to spend time with her grandmother as a child. It is this place that becomes a symbol of peace, an understanding of nature, and a shared home for people and animals. When Glade is threatened by the construction of a city bypass as Mabel enters her teens, she decides to take action. She discovers that the animals have disappeared from the construction site, and the only way to bring them back to Hájek—and thus prevent the construction of the overpass—is to reintroduce a beaver into the local ecosystem. The beaver dams the stream, and the resulting pond attracts other animals, which settle back into Glade. Her efforts to save Glade lead her to Bobrtons University, where a team of scientists led by Professor Fairfax is running a top-secret project that allows people to literally take a leap into the wild. Using robotic animals—which scientists call “Hoppers”—printed on 3D printers, it’s possible to jump into the animal kingdom, where you can then communicate with the animals. Mabel doesn’t hesitate; she transfers her mind into a robot beaver and sets off into the wilderness to find a beaver who can save her little forest. Shortly after the jump, Mabel is amazed at how well she understands all the animals and how much fun their conversations are. Soon, however, she discovers that certain rules apply in the animal kingdom—rules she had no idea about until now.
