The film adaptation of his first story was directed by Chris Columbus in collaboration with J.K. The entire story of THE SORCERER’S STONE revolves around the orphan Harry Potter. This makes the surprise that awaits him all the greater when, on his eleventh birthday, he receives a letter that heralds a change in his life so far.
