Inspired by true events, this story tells of a loving father whose life is shattered by a single tragic mistake. It shatters his happy marriage and leaves him completely alone. Facing the threat of prison and an unbearable sense of guilt, he tries to regain his wife's trust and save the love that still binds them despite the pain. When he discovers that the true origin of the tragedy lies deep within the architecture of the human mind, a fragile path to reconciliation begins to emerge. But can their love withstand such a great failure?

Come see this emotional drama about a loving father whose life is shattered by a single tragic mistake. This intense film, inspired by a true story, competed in the Orizzonti section at the Venice Film Festival and is now up for six Czech Film Critics' Awards. In addition to the Best Film category, it is also nominated for Best Director (Tereza Nvotová), Best Screenplay (Nvotová in collaboration with Dušan Budzak), Best Cinematography (Adam Suzin), and Best Actor (Milan Ondrík) and Best Actress (Dominika Morávková). The screening will be accompanied by a discussion with Tereza Nvotová, producer Veronika Paštéková, and co-writer Dušan Budzak led by Janis Prášil, a member of the Czech Film Critics Association.

The 16th Czech Film Critics' Awards will be presented on Saturday, February 7, with YouTuber, comedian, and former political commentator Jan Špaček hosting the gala evening. Czech Television will broadcast the ceremony live on ČT art at 8:15 p.m.
