When Lightning McQueen, a rookie but very ambitious race car, unexpectedly finds himself in the sleepy town of Radiator Springs on Route 66 while on his way to the spectacular Piston Cup Championship, he learns that the true joy of life isn’t found at the finish line, but along the way. The cars from the town, whom he meets during his journey across America, show him that there are more important things in the world than trophies, fame, and sponsors.
