Breakthrough - The Volcano Trekker + Walk the Tideline

Breakthrough is a short film anthology from Science Friday and Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) that follows women working at the forefront of their fields.

Each episode blends deeply personal stories with innovative scientific research of women across STEM fields. Prague Science Film Festival will be screening an episode focused on american volcanologist Kayla Iacovino. The volkano trekker who collects rock samples in order to better understand the forces that created them.
