Nine-year-old Elisabeth returns for summer vacation to her family, who live at a research station in the middle of the Amazon rainforest; her dad works there as a cartographer and jungle expert. Shortly after her arrival, her dad falls off a ladder and needs medical attention, so her mom has to take him to hospital. Elisabeth offers to take care of her little, very restless brother Leo in the meantime. But she doesn’t really enjoy it, and instead of watching him, she’d rather have her nose buried in a book. When she finally looks up a moment later, she realizes that Leo has wandered off into the jungle. She has to find him and bring him home before her parents return. Thus begins her adventurous journey through a mysterious and unknown jungle.

A significant portion of the film’s Czech production was handled by the Zlín-based studio Kouzelná animace.
