Beating Hearts

Jackie and Clotaire seemingly have nothing in common. Jackie is a decent girl from a good family, studying hard in high school. Her classmate Clotaire, on the other hand, grows up in a troubled neighborhood, likes to hang out and live a disorderly life. Although Jackie comes across as a fragile girl, Clotaire is charmed by her fearlessness and her sharp sense of humour. She, on the other hand, admires his unpredictability and spontaneity. Despite their differences, they fall head over heels in love and think their love is unparalleled and will never end. However, Clotaire gets involved with a violent gang and is sentenced to ten years in prison for a murder he did not actually commit.

After many years of involuntary separation, the two live very different lives. Jackie leads an orderly and peaceful life with her new partner, while the newly released Clotaire would like to deal harshly with his former cronies for their betrayal, which led to his long years in prison. But every journey they embark on inevitably brings them back together. Will their raging love win out over Clotaire's desire for revenge and the contented life Jackie now lives?
