This year, the Be Equal! section focuses on the theme of identity – the search for it, its transformations, its strength and its fragility.
The films show that identity is not fixed once and for all, but is formed through dialogue with the world around us: in friendship, in art, in language and in the environment that exposes us to uncertainty and challenges. Each story offers a different perspective, but together they create a map of experiences that reflect our shared need to be seen and respected.
