AMOOSED: A Moose Odyssey

Is there such a thing as a totem animal? Director Hana Nováková embarks on an unexpected journey that begins as an exploration of the spontaneous return of extinct majestic forest giants, but gradually transforms into a personal spiritual odyssey. In her documentary, she follows “elk-obsessed” people across the globe—from scientists to enthusiasts who have dedicated their lives to these imposing creatures. At the One World International Festival, the film won the Grand Prize for Best Film in the Czech Competition.
