An exclusive screening of the final performance of the legendary production based on the short stories of Irvine Welsh from the Dejvické divadlo theater.
When your whole life goes to sh*t in a single day and you meet God in a bar, who tells you that he does exist, but that he's a lazy bastard who doesn't give a damn about anything, you think things can't get any worse. But they can... UCPANEJ SYSTÉM (A BLOCKAGE IN THE SYSTEM) is based on the short story collection and film script Acid House by the well-known Scottish writer Irvine Welsh. The sad heroes are young people who cannot escape the strange hopelessness of their lost existence. Welch's novels and short stories are raw and honest, full of drugs, harsh language, and soccer, exploring the dark corners of the world and the soul. But beneath the black humor of the anecdotes lies a substantial and powerful generational statement.
A BLOCKAGE IN THE SYSTEM won the Alfréd Radok Award for Best Production of 2012. Ivan Trojan won the 2012 Alfréd Radok Award in the category of Best Male Performance for his role as God and was also nominated for a Thalia Award for this role.
