Zdeněk Svěrák 90s

Writer, actor, lyricist, and Cimrmanologist Zdeněk Svěrák will celebrate his 90th birthday. He began his career in the mid-1960s with the mystifying radio program Nealkoholická vinárna U Pavouka (The Non-Alcoholic Wine Bar at the Spider's). Sixty years later, we will return to this very program. On March 28, 2026, Daniela Kolářová, Petr Nárožný, Bolek Polívka, Karel Šíp, Tomáš Klus, Iva Janžurová, Miroslav Táborský, Tereza Ramba, Michal Horáček, Anna K., Marek Eben, Juraj Kukura, Jaromír Hanzlík, members of the Jára Cimrman Theatre, and dozens of other guests will come to wish the birthday boy their best to the improvised wine bar set on the stage of the Jára Cimrman Theatre. Vladimír Kroc and Tomáš Maleček will host the event. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to support the Paraple Center, which helps people with spinal cord injuries and their families.
